Winter River
Lost is what
the winter river has to say
because a patient by the window
never say a word
What a waste
the crystal water is
just because of your life
without a lover
Old tree withers
even at the river edge
because your calendars
never flipped
- - -
Trying to enjoy the spring foliage
and leave by twilight,
I lost foots on the leaves
missing bees and birds
Suddenly, winter and flood
too far from the heaven
Tedious way to a mighty ocean
Why thunders bring me here
Bitter winds may help me
or raging waves rather do
I can hear the serenade
of seagulls in a distance
the winter river has to say
because a patient by the window
never say a word
What a waste
the crystal water is
just because of your life
without a lover
Old tree withers
even at the river edge
because your calendars
never flipped
- - -
Trying to enjoy the spring foliage
and leave by twilight,
I lost foots on the leaves
missing bees and birds
Suddenly, winter and flood
too far from the heaven
Tedious way to a mighty ocean
Why thunders bring me here
Bitter winds may help me
or raging waves rather do
I can hear the serenade
of seagulls in a distance
